As Regional Director of the Global Subs Group for Citibank United Arab Emirates, as well as throughout his incredible 19 years in the industry, Jawdat has routinely exhibited the passion, vision and dedication necessary to be considered among the best.
The Global Subs Group looks after multi-national companies' and corporations' portfolios, representing various industries, such as oil and gas, consumer healthcare, and pharmaceuticals. They extend coverage, financing, cash management, trade services, financial solutions, and Forex, which includes forward contracts and currency hedging.
Mr. Jawdat has 19 years of banking experience with Samba and Citibank in various functions and leadership positions. He has worked in operations and technology; global transaction services in product management and client sales management covering the Middle East and North Africa public sectors; and Commercial/Corporate Banking Regional Head for the Middle East.
During his collegiate career, Jawdat earned a Master's degree in Leadership Management and eCommerce from Almeda University. He also earned a Banking diploma in Finance and Banking. Jawdat was the recipient of the Citibank Chairman Award in 2005 and 2006 as well as being a Trophy Deal Winner from 2008-2010.
